
Peter chapman, founder
Peter has 40 years experience as a private equity investment manager, bringing a wealth of leadership and management experience to the project. His interest in remote areas of the Himalayas stems from trekking and climbing trips in Nepal, Bhutan, China and India since 2004.

Carolyn was formerly the CEO of Australian Himalayan Foundation with over 10 years’ experience managing numerous aid projects in Nepal, India and Bhutan. Carolyn lives in Bhutan where she works for the United Nations.

With over 25 years working on development and cultural exchange projects in the Himalaya and South Asia. Julia is the Honorary Consul of Bhutan in New South Wales and is a Lecturer in Strategic Communication at The University of Sydney. Julia is a former Chair of the Program Advisory Committee at Australian Himalayan Foundation.

Pema Lhanzo studied International Relations from the Asia Pacific University, Malaysia in collaboration with the Staffordshire University in the UK. She was a Student Ambassador for APU and worked with the Royal Bhutanese Embassy in Thailand. She worked as a National junior consultant with UNRCO in Bhutan and in the International Relations department at the Royal Thimphu College. Pema is currently the Marketing Officer at Drukair Corporation Ltd in Bhutan. Pema is keen to develop within an innovation-focused practice and contribute to making the world a better place.
